No More LOS

Even non-filmmakers know the pain of a cable that only works when at a certain angle: we've all lost a little bit of battery life to a dodgy charge lead at some point. The HDMI Clamp keeps that problem in the past: helping you lock your cable into place, keeping a stable connection from FX5 to external display.

Low-Profile

If you're running a stripped-back build with our FX5 Corner Top Plate, maybe with a monitor mounted in the Cold Shoe, the HDMI Clamp is ready to mount in moments. If you're using the FX5 with a more rigged-out setup on our NATO Top Plate, then the HDMI Clamp is ready just as quickly. In both cases, the Clamp sits nestled against the FX5 body for a minimal footprint: meaning you can shoot in comfort.

Clean Clamping

The FX5 HDMI Clamp has a simple yet intuitive design that is secure right up until the moment you don't want it to be. The Clamp can be adjusted to fit HDMI cable housings up to 10.9mm thick, all the way down to 5.9mm, with a few twists of a Hex Key. When it comes time to wrap, all it takes is a few twists the other way.

Part of the Sony FX5 System

The Sony FX5 is the latest and greatest cinema camera, so make sure your camera has the cage it deserves. Bright Tangerine Sony FX5 accessories are all designed to the highest standard, so you always have the best camera rig for the job.

Key Features:

Secure HDMI Cable Clamping Design

Compatible with FX5 Top Plates

Supports 5.9 cm to 10.9 cm Cable Housings

Prevents Cable Twisting and Stripping

Low-Profile Design for Sony FX5

Compatibility:

The Sony FX5 HDMI Clamp is designed to fit to the FX5 via either the Sony FX5 NATO Top Plate or the Corner Top Plate. It can accommodate HDMI cables with plug sizes between 5.9mm and 10.9mm thick. For use with our FX5 NATO Wing Grip, we recommend ultra-thin HDMI cables with plugs no more than 20mm long. Larger HDMI plugs will clash with the Wing Grip - risking damage to the camera, cable or cage.
