Ideal for podcasters, content creators, and educators, the MAKI Live features built-in Wi-Fi 6, NDI|HX2|HX3 and RTSP, RTMP, and SRT support, 3x optical/10x digital zoom, and HDMI and USB-C outputs.

AI-Assisted Zoom and Audio

The MAKI Live has a zoom lens with an 81.4 to 31.3°angle of view, and it offers AI-assisted gesture recognition for hands-free zoom control. It also provides low/mid/high AI noise isolation for capturing your speakers clearly in various environments.

Up to UHD 4K30 Video

With its 1/2.8"-type Sony CMOS sensor and 4K30 capabilities, the MAKI Live can capture clear, detailed video at rates up to UHD 4K30.

Streaming

The MAKI Live offers NDI|HX2 and low/medium/high/ultra NDI|HX3 streaming, balancing video quality with efficient bandwidth usage. Download an NDI|HX-compatible viewer like the free NDI Studio Monitor, or use the BirdDog PLAY hardware decoder to view your NDI stream. SRT streaming is offered for reliable remote transmission, and multicasting is available with a properly configured network.

Autofocus Modes

Choose between automatic, manual, and ToF (time of flight) modes to keep your subjects in focus.

MAKI Live App

Available for iOS and Android devices, the MAKI Live app can be used to set your camera as a Wi-Fi client or hotspot in AP (access point) mode. It also provides main camera function settings, tally adjustments, and the ability to save video to a microSD card.

Web GUI

Use BirdDog's BirdUI to remotely configure your MAKI Live camera using your computer browser.

Configurable Tally

The BirdDog HALO multicolour tally system is built into your MAKI Live camera, letting you adjust the front tally light and rear LEDs to best suit your talent or operator's preferences.

Compact Form

The MAKI Live features a compact form, helping you easily capture engaging camera angles without getting in the way of your talent.
