Integrated NDI Decoder

The camera features an NDI|HX decoder designed specifically for monitoring, return feeds, or teleprompter usage. All the connectivity is contained into a single cable, simplifying how you interface with your equipment.

AI Tracking

Keep your subject in focus with AI tracking technology, intelligently following your subject's movements in real-time. Whether you're orchestrating a live event, capturing spontaneous moments in a hybrid environment, or hunting down sports action, AI tracking helps you get well framed.

Connectivity Options

The X5 Ultra features 12G-SDI output, dual HDMI outputs, and support for multiple network formats, including NDI|HX3, SRT, RTMP and RTSP, and webcam connectivity over USB-C with UVC 1.1 support.

4K60 NDI|HX3 Integration

The X5 Ultra delivers superior network performance via integrated NDI|HX3. Reduce network impact while maintaining high-quality imagery across all video resolutions. NDI|HX2 is also supported in alternate resolutions.

Built-In Halo Tally Light

A visible and effective halo tally system is prominent with a large, daylight visible border, and an interchangeable, illuminated numbering system. Your cast and crew will always know where to look to keep your audience engaged and your look polished.

E-Ink Label

The dual, always-on e-ink label displays on the X5 Ultra allow easy access to controls and customizable logos to complement your brand image. This cool feature ensures that your setup is clear and that each camera is easily identifiable, even when the power is off.

BirdUI Advanced Features

BirdUI gives you access to every function of your X5 Ultra with an intuitive interface. As a browser-based application, it can be accessed from anywhere on the same network as the X5 Ultra. There is also a dashboard for monitoring the camera and light/dark modes to suit your production environment.

BirdDog KBD PTZ Controller with Integrated Screen

Control your PTZ multicamera setup and monitor up to four cameras simultaneously with the KBD PTZ Controller with Integrated Screen from BirdDog. Built with ocean-bound plastics and recyclable aircraft-grade aluminium, the KDP boasts a rugged, ergonomic design with a large 1280 x 720 display to allow you to quickly pair and switch cameras with a single keystroke.

The new Effortless Camera Settings Sync function enables you to easily copy settings from one X-series device to another, and the integrated tally borders facilitate live switching with optional TriCaster or vMix platforms. The KDP offers NDI|HX2 and NDI|HX3 support as well as VISCA-IP, ONVIF, RS-232, and RS-422 for smooth workflow versatility. Balancing power, operational comfort, and eco-friendly innovation, the KDP is the ideal companion for studio production, live events, and mobile program acquisition applications.
