Angelbird SSD2GO PKT 4TB MK3

Achieve consistent high speed performance for capturing creative recordings that include photos, videos, and audio tracks with the 4TB SSD2GO PKT USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Portable SSD from Angelbird, which may also be used to manage data storage and expansion needs for alternative workflows. It is a solid choice if you're looking for a companion for your daily on-camera, recorder, laptop, desktop, tablet, or mobile tasks.

The SSD2GO PKT has a capacity of 4TB and connects to your host system using a 20 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port that delivers maximum read and write speeds of 1800 MB/s, sustained read speeds of 1700 MB/s, and sustained write speeds of 1600 MB/s. The USB connection also delivers bus power and is USB backward compatible and Thunderbolt 3/4 compatible, although Thunderbolt speeds are not supported. Other integrated features include an LED write-protect switch, Solid Connect, Stable Stream, and resistance to extreme temperatures, X-rays, magnets, splashes, shocks, dust, ESD, and overloads.

Secure File Access, Without a Server

The SSD2GO PKT delivers 4TB of unrestricted, effortless, secure, and private file access, without needing a server. Important files and creative work remain safe, no matter what.

Sleek, Small, and Eye Catching

The compact SSD2GO PKT combines sturdiness with a lightweight design. Engineered with a rock-solid CNC worked aluminium exterior, it weighs less than two AA batteries, is the size of a business card, and easily slips into one's back pocket. It's sure to get noticed, not just for its performance, but also for its design.

Seamless Recording

Angelbird's Stable Stream guarantees stable, consistent performance across all modes and throughout the entire capacity of the SSD. With a sustained write speed of 1600 MB/s, the SSD2GO PKT captures consistent, high-resolution quality in every frame while recording. This also means almost instant file access and editing speed during post-production moments under pressure.

Effortless Data Protection

The SSD2GO PKT comes with a user-friendly feature, the Write-Protect Switch, preventing users from unintentionally deleting, formatting, or transferring unwanted data to the SSD. Data safety is ensured through its unique Read-Only mode functionality, providing an extra layer of protection for critical files.

A white LED means the SSD is connected to the host but the Write-Protect function is not engaged. An orange LED means the Write-Protect function is engaged, activating the SSD's Read-Only mode, and a flashing LED indicated a data transfer is in progress.

Solid Connect

The SSD2GO PKT features Angelbird's Solid Connect. The recessed connection point of the drive ensures stable, uninterrupted data transfers and minimises cable wear and tear. Angelbird issues regular firmware updates to maintain the drive's high performance and ensure long term compatibility with devices and cameras and recorders.

Uninterrupted Read and Write Performance

Angelbird's Stable Stream guarantees consistent read and write performance across the entire capacity of the SSD, so pros shall not have to worry about a frame drop or interruption.

Securing Shots Is Made Simple

The Write-Protect Switch eliminates the risk of accidental file deletion during operation. The integrated LED shows when the Read-Only mode is activated and indicates the file transfer activity.

Rock Solid Build

This robust SSD2GO PKT is resistant to extreme temperatures, x-rays, magnets, splashes, shocks, and dust. It is also protected against ESD and overloads so you can endure tough shooting days and heavy loads.

Smooth and Fast File Offloading

Quickly move to post production or free up SSD space by transferring files at speeds up to 20 Gb/s with any USB-C compatible system.

A Protected Cable and Connection

The Angelbird Solid Connect design features a secure, recessed connection point within the SSD to ensure stable, uninterrupted data transfers and minimise cable wear and tear.

Solid Flex Cable

The SSD2GO comes with a 12.6" high-speed, ultra-flexible USB-C 4.0 cable wrapped in a durable, colour-matched fabric.

External Recording Tool for Seamless Content Creation

The SSD2GO PKT attaches to any USB-C recording-capable camera or device, with an optional Mounting Bracket PKT for added flexibility, enabling limitless content capture and storage.
