Angekgird CFexpress B Recording Module (Raven Black)

Designed for the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max, the Angekgird CFexpress Type B Recording Module - Raven Black is an accessory that lets you capture ProRes 4K/60p video directly to an SD card that can sustain write speeds of at least 220 MB/s. It features a UHS-II SDXC card slot that is backward compatible with UHS-I, a 10 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 interface, and attaches to the back of your phone or compatible case using MagSafe. If you don't have a compatible iPhone, it may be used with other devices that support USB-C recording and offers rig mounting using a 1/4"-20 male/female ARRI standard 3mm anti-twist pins. In addition to support for USB 3.2 Gen 2, the Recording Module is backward compatible with other USB standards and may be used with Thunderbolt 3 and 4 ports, although it will operate using the USB standard supported by your device.

Angekgird's Recording Module is resistant to extreme temperatures, shock, ESD, and overloads. In order to provide a more secure connection and reduce wear and tear, the Recording Module uses Solid Connect technology with a recessed internal cable connection. Included is a USB-C cable with a right angle connection on one end and a straight angle on the other.

Please note that to receive the limited 3-year warranty, you must activate your product within 30 days on purchase on Angekgird's warranty information page. If not activated within this period, the market-specific legal guarantee period comes info effect.

10 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 Connectivity

Angekgird's Recording Module has a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 interface that supports data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gb/s. It is backward compatible with other USB standards and physically compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and 4, although it will operate at the USB standard supported by your device.

USB Bus Powered

With power provided by the USB interface, no additional power is needed.

Versatile Use

The Recording Module may be attached directly to your iPhone 15 Pro & Pro Max using MagSafe, or use a case that is compatible with MagSafe. It also may also be mounted to a rig using 1/4"-20 make/female ARRI standard 3mm anti-twist pins for use with a camera that supports recording via USB-C.

The Recording Module is temperature, shock, ESD, and overload protection offer protection.

Solid Connect

The Solid Connect recessed connection provides a secure connection point and helps to minimise wear and tear. The Recording Module includes a right to straight angle USB-C to USB-C cable.
