Not One, But Two EXPEED 6 Image Processors

When powering either camera, you can use existing Nikon EN-EL15 batteries. However, Nikon recommends using the newer EN-EL15C battery. By doing so, you can capture more images per charge. Plus you can power the camera externally via a USB-C cable making it ideal for live streaming, time-lapse or studio work.

The NB-N11 Power Battery Pack and Vertical Grip houses two EN-EL15C batteries providing 1.9x more battery performance. Also, the battery closest to the door is hot-swappable, so you can keep replacing the battery for longer shooting times. The MB-N11 also features an additional USB-C port. By utilising this feature, the Z6 II or Z7 II can communicate via software while the main USB-C charges the batteries.
