Best suited for run-and-gun shooting, vlogs, and other forms of content creation, the Zoom ZSG-1 Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone features a lightweight form factor and highly directional supercardioid pickup pattern for improved audio pickup. A 3.5mm TRS port with an included cable connects the microphone to your DSLR/mirrorless camera, compatible smartphone, or portable recorder to capture better audio than just your device on its own.

With off-axis rejection and a tailored frequency response, the ZSG-1 is designed to capture directional audio while minimizing background noise. Power runs to the microphone via the output connection and its lack of onboard controls ensures simple plug-and-play operation. Included with the microphone is a shockmount which reduces handling noise and allows you to mount the ZSG-1 to the top of your camera or smartphone gimbal. Detach the microphone from the mount to use it with a boompole or pistol grip. A foam windscreen reduces distortion due to wind noise.
