Multi-coated optics help maximize the objective lens' light-gathering ability and limits the glare typically found when glassing on or near the water.

The binoculars are wrapped in a textured rubber armor that protects them from impacts and drops, but provides a slip-resistant grip in cold or wet conditions. To withstand rain or water spray, the optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature changes.
