Using an anamorphic attachment will often limit your taking lens's ability to focus close to the camera; however, the SLR Magic Achromatic Diopter +1.8 allows you to focus as close as 1.8' away from your camera when used in conjunction with one of the SLR Magic Anamorphot adapters. Incorporating a 77mm diameter filter thread allows you to mount it on a lens with a 77mm filter thread to achieve close focus.

The diopter features highly corrected glass elements with anti-reflective multi-coating for sharp edge-to-edge images. Use of this diopter will bring the infinity focus of your lens closer. The filter threads are on both the front and rear of the adapter, allowing you to stack multiple diopters.
