Sirui 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm T2.9 1.6x Anamorphic Lens Kit for Nikon Z Mount + 1.25x Anamorphic Adapter

Sirui T2.9 1.6x Anamorphic lens kit for Nikon Z is a sharp and fast anamorphic lens designed to bring a cinematic look to your videos. With its 1.6x Ratio, the lens takes full advantage of the Full Frame sensor to produce a 2.8:1 widescreen aspect ratio that is synonymous with theatre movie experiences.

The lenses use an optically distorting anamorphic front element to squeeze the horizontal axis of the shot by 1.6 times which allows for more information to be fit onto the sensor. This is then stretched back in post-production or in-camera (see manufacturers’ specs for compatibility) to create a wider field of view and ratio compared to a conventional aspherical lens.

The lenses reproduce flares beautifully while the coatings on the lens keep them from obscuring the entire frame. The fast aperture of T2.9 to creates a very shallow depth of field, increasing the oval-shaped bokeh effect that is found in anamorphic lenses. This soft out-of-focus area is one of the many benefits a true anamorphic lens brings over its filter counterparts or digital crop bars that imitate the anamorphic ‘look.’ The kit comprises 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm T2.9 1.6x Anamorphic lenses and the 1.25x Anamorphic adapter.

In-built focus gears work perfectly with follow focus setups to ensure smooth and accurate focusing. Across the range, the focus gears are consistent, which provides easy changing in-follow focus rigs.

Sirui 1.25x Anamorphic Adapter turns your lens into an anamorphic lens. Using a normal spherical lens gives a 1.25x squeeze, producing the anamorphic widescreen look.

The lens uses an optically distorting anamorphic front element to squeeze the horizontal axis of the shot by 1.25 times which allows for more information to be fit onto the sensor. When paired with Sirui 1.6x Full Frame Anamorphic lens lineup, they create a 2x anamorphic squeeze. This is then stretched back in post-production or in-camera (see manufacturers’ specs for compatibility) to create a wider field of view and ratio compared to a conventional aspherical lens.

The lens reproduces flares beautifully while the coatings on the lens keep them from obscuring the entire frame.

In-built focus gears work perfectly with follow focus setups to ensure smooth and accurate focusing—front single focus for ease of use. Simply set the lens to infinity and then focus via the adapter.

The adapter has a native thread of 82mm, and included are four additional step rings – 82-67, 82-72, 82-77, and 82-92. This allows for use on a large amount of standard filter threaded lenses.
