Samyang 8mm f/3.5 Fisheye Lens

The Samyang 8mm f/3.5 ultra-wide angle fisheye lens is available for every major digital SLR1 manufacturer including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus and Pentax. Its ultra-wide 180 degree (167 degrees on APS-C) field of view is great for distorting perspective and is commonly used to exaggerate amplitude in action sports photography or to simply achieve a unique and creative composition. Similar to early SLR cameras, the Samyang requires manual focusing and aperture adjustment. Thankfully, the smooth action of the focus ring and 1/2EV increments of the aperture ring make finding correct focus and exposure a breeze. Despite these two omissions, the build and optical quality of the lens is exceptional.
