Manfrotto Advanced UV Filter

The Advanced UV filter is a multifunctional filter; blocks ultraviolet rays and therefore reduces blur, opacity and reflections. At the same time, it is a great tool to protect the lens from dust, moisture, scratches, and can be permanently mounted on the lens. The Manfrotto Advanced UV filter is water-repellent, scratch-resistant and oil-resistant. It consists of 12 layers that allow 98.8% of light transmission.

Multilayer coating

Each Manfrotto filter has been developed with the highest precision. The elaborate multilayer coating process minimises reflections and maximises light transmission, thus delivering remarkable optical quality. The anti-reflexivity of the filters increases proportionally to the the number of coating layers. In addition, thanks to multiple layers, Manfrotto filters provide a superior level of protection against dust, moisture and scratches.
