Lomography LC-A Minitar-1 Art Lens (Silver)

The Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 Art Lens is the latest addition to the Lomo LC-A legacy. Featuring the original optics of our signature camera, the lens merges the LC-A heritage of shooting from the hip with the handmade craftsmanship of the Lomography Art Lens family. Compatible across a large platform of analogue and digital cameras, the Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 Art Lens offers freedom over LC-A optics like never before.

Exceptional Craftsmanship

The Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 was designed with the utmost care. From the ultra-compact pancake design and universal filter thread to the premium Russian optics and beyond, the features and specifications of the Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 Art Lens arrive nearly unparalleled on a broad field of rangefinder lenses.

Zone Focus Fantastic

With the quick flick of a switch, you let the Minitar-1 do that for you—just estimate the distance and go! After a few shots, zone focusing will be your second nature. Additionally, as a rangefinder coupled lens, the Minitar-1 utilizes the Leica M’s rangefinder focus—which means perfectly precise focusing when paired with rangefinder cameras.

Characteristic Vignetting

The Minitar-1’s unique vintage Russian optic schemes are great for vignetting. The retro-focusing wide-angle optic design helps significantly reduce the Minitar-1’s focal length and to achieve the ultra-compact layout of the lens. Its rectilinear correction leads to various distances from the lens to the center of the film and its edges, which then creates the typical vignette on your images—just one of the many legendary and loved aspects of the Minitar-1.

Supernaturally Saturated Colors

The complex coating of the lens was specifically developed for the Minitar-1, and helps yield beautifully saturated colors. Due to the exceptional construction and calculation of the lens, the Minitar-1 is able to produce its signature rich, saturated colors.

Compatibility

The Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 Art Lens is directly compatible with Leica M mount cameras. For compatibility with Sony E mount, Fujifilm X mount and Micro 4/3 mount cameras, the lens should be used together with adapter mounts available from Lomography.
