DJI Extension Rod for Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket

DJI Extension Rod for Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket

The DJI Extension Rod for Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket is like an advanced selfie stick with a joystick and control buttons for the gimbal. It also features a smartphone holder for monitoring. The Extension Rod telescopes up to 30" in length, enabling you to shoot from different angles.

The gimbal connects to the Extension Rod without any cables, connecting to the electronic contacts on the gimbal, after which the buttons on the Extension Rod can be used to control the gimbal.

To use your smartphone as a monitor at the same time, an optional compatible USB cable is required to connect the phone to the Extension Rod. Then you can monitor the image via the DJI Mimo app. Alternatively, the optional Wireless Module for Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket can be used instead. The Wireless Module attaches to the bottom of the gimbal and establishes a connection with the phone over Wi-Fi.

The Extension Rod is compact, yet the handle is thick enough to provide a comfortable and secure feel in your hand. It's powered by a built-in LiPo battery that's charged by the Osmo Pocket automatically when connected. It also has a 1/4"-20 mounting thread on the bottom for attaching it to tripods and other supports along with the gimbal.
