Samyang 8mm T3.8 Fisheye VDSLR UMC II MFT Video Lens

The Samyang 8mm T3.8 VDSLR UMC Fisheye CS II is a manual focus fisheye lens cine lens designed for APS-C sensor size. This lens is carefully designed for professional film and video works, so the focus gear ring is installed for follow focus system. You may change the aperture quietly and smoothly with the uncoupled aperture gear ring. The T number guiding the actual amount of light transmission and distance scales are marked on both sides of the lens to film more precisely. The lens operates in manual aperture system with low T number which enables natural shooting under various light exposure circumstances.

This lens features 10 lenses in 7 groups including 1 hybrid aspherical lens (H-ASP). This H-ASP lens minimises colour aberration to realise exceptional image quality and high contrast for centre, and corner of image even when aperture is fully opened. The Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) technology of Samyang Optics optimises the light penetration to minimise flare and ghost.

The frame of Samyang 8mm T3.8 VDSLR UMC Fisheye CS II is compact and solid as it is made of high-strength aluminium alloy, so trustworthy images can be captured even under inferior environment. The detachable petal-shaped lens hood shelters the lens from unnecessary light. You can express the ultra-wide world in creative and unique style via fish-eye lens.

The Samyang 8mm T3.8 II is one of Samyang Optics VDSLR lens line for APS-C image sensor size. The lenses produce the same image colour and have a united location of aperture and focus gear ring to maximise convenience when filming.
