Introducing the all new SmallHD 1703 HDR Production Monitor. The SmallHD 1703 incorporates HDR Previews with a 8-bit on board colour processing engine. The high bright 1000nit panel allows for use outdoors while display at 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution. The HDR range is built using billet aluminium making these panels incredibly rugged and built to last!

The SmallHD HDR range of monitors use the same GUI as the 500 & 700 series On-Camera Monitors. Easily apply your choice of tools such as Vectorscopes, Waveforms, Multiview, 3D LUTS and more to different pages for easy access.

Colorflow 3D Lut Processing

In order to keep your images consistent from production through to post-production, ColorFlow allows you to import 3D LUTs and display the treated image side-by-side with the untreated image to correctly gauge exposure while visualising what is being recorded by the camera.

Side-by-side preview can also be used with the HDR preview function. Separate LUT-treated images can be sent downstream over SDI and HDMI so you can have the 1703 display a log image or LUT-treated image, while the director or client monitors connected to the outputs can receive images treated with a different LUT.

An image-capture function saves a still frame from the incoming video stream onto an SD card and also records the applied 3D LUT for post-production reference.

Hassle-free power

There are several ways to power the 1703 HDR including XLR power input and 12v Lemo power out built in to the monitor. Need more power? Both V-mount and Gold Mount are also available as an optional accessory plate for the 1703. AC power is also available onboard.
