The Transmitter has 32 channels to prevent interference from other photographers, while Its 4 groups allow you to work with multiple lighting setups. Since it's a manual unit it will work on any camera and trigger a flash at distances up to 328' The Odin Lite requires a separately-purchased receiver, or a flash with a receiver built-in.
