Gitzo GM4532 Series 4 Carbon Fiber Monopod

Gitzo GM4532 Series 4 Carbon Fiber Monopod

The GM4532 Series 4 Monopod from Gitzo is a 3-section, lightweight carbon fiber support designed with rapid deployment and break-down in mind. Utilizing Gitzo's patented G-Lock Ultra leg locks, the GM4532 has the ability to support up to an impressive 66 lb while weighing just 1.5 lb.

The monopod reaches a maximum height of 64.2", enough to meet the height requirements of most shooters, and features a reversible 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 mounting thread for adding an optional head if extra height or articulation is needed. The monopod's 3-section design limits the steps required to set-up the support and allows for rapid deployment and break-down in the field. Wide leg sections also provide additional rigidity and make the GM4532 an ideal choice for supporting heavy telephoto lenses, DSLRs, and professional video cameras.

Denoting its broad appearance, the GM4532 offers impressive strength which originates from its use of Gitzo's 6X Carbon eXact tubing and patented G-Lock Ultra designs. The professional grade 6-layer carbon weave allows the monopod to maintain maximum strength while keeping weight to an absolute minimum. The G-Lock Ultras also add to the tubing's strength by providing a rigid connection between leg sections and protecting the joints from dust, dirt, and moisture.

At the monopod's base is a redesigned rubber foot which features a pivoting ball-joint for smooth tilts and twists. Users may also remove the foot if necessary and replace it with optional rubber feet or an optional metal spike. The GM4532 also features Gitzo's standard textured hand grip for enhanced ergonomics and a removable wrist strap for increased security.
