A lithium-ion battery (Li-ion battery) is a type of rechargeable battery in which lithium ions move from the negative electrode to the positive electrode during discharge, and reversely when charged.

Li-ion batteries are considered the industry standard for rechargeable equipment, especially digital, D-SLR and video cameras. Due to their compatibility and reliability, we highly recommend them.

The average lifespan of a normal Li-ion battery is between 3 - 5 years, given they are well looked after and power-cycled on a semi-regular basis.
