The 16mm Fisheye Conversion Lens for FE 28mm f/2 Lens from Sony lets you broaden the focal length of your 28mm full-frame lens to a 16mm lens with 180° perspective for inclusive and distorted creativity. As this converter lens is uniquely compatible with the FE 28mm f/2 lens, it transmits EXIF data through the host lens to the camera. The optical design of the converter lens is comprised of 5 elements in 4 groups and when on the 28mm lens, it provides a maximum aperture of f/3.5 and a minimum focus distance of 8.8". When the lens is used with an APS-C E-Mount camera, the converter lens provides a 105° angle of view and a 24mm focal length equivalent. It is a lightweight, compact addition to the 28mm lens and features a built-in petal-type lens hood to shield the lens from unwanted light.
