Roland V-600UHD 4K HDR Multi-Format Video Switcher

The versatile V-600UHD 4K HDR Multi-Format Video Switcher from Roland integrates Full HD and 4K inputs for simultaneous output, enabling you to transition to a full 4K workflow as your workload and budget demands. Nuanced lighting at IMAG events and subtle tones are preserved in all their detail using high dynamic range (HDR) technology, and 60 Hz frame rate support provides smoother movements than a 30 Hz rate. BT.2020 color gamut support and 10-bit 4:4:4 color processing both maintain accurate color reproduction and reduce color banding.

Each of the V-600UHD's four HDMI 2.0 and two 12G-SDI inputs supports and automatically scales HD video resolutions up to DCI 4K, as well as PC resolutions from UXGA to DCI 4K. Downscaling on the one 12G/3G-SDI and three HDMI 2.0 outputs enables you to view your content simultaneously on HD as well as 4K displays, and a configurable multiview output provides a view of all your sources on a single HD display. For LED displays, the V-600UHD's will output "dot-by-dot" scaling to your exact pixel dimensions without the need of an external scaler.

Boost your production values with the V-600UHD's built-in region of interest (ROI) function. This handy feature splits a single 4K camera into up to eight selectable HD shots, in effect creating a multicamera look with just one feed. Two picture-in-picture (PiP) windows enable you to position content anywhere on your screen with customizable aspect rations, sizing, and scaling.

The Roland V-600UHD audio features include 24-bit, 48 kHz processing, de-embedding, an Audio-Follows-Video function, and the ability to embed program audio into one or all of your video outputs. Additional features include RS-232 and RJ45 control ports, a DB-25 tally port, and rackmount brackets.
