Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 12-24mm f4G IF ED Lens

The Nikon 12-24mm is an ultra-wide-angle lens that is suitable for a wide range of photographic uses, particularly sceneries and landscapes, architecture, and indoor photography where space is limited. Optically this lens is an excellent performer throughout its zoom range and with a constant f4 max aperture, it is a great option for shooting when the light is limited.

Optical construction

The Nikon 12-24mm utilises ED glass and moulded aspheric - all you need to know about this is that it leads to sharp, highly detailed images in all conditions. Thanks to the curved aperture blades, out of focus areas are smooth and natural-looking from f4 to f22.

In use

Feel free to let this lens be your main shooter in discrete environments; with its silent wave motor at work, the 12-24mm is quick and importantly silent to focus - never bringing you unwanted attention. Focusing is internally providing you with the added benefit of using filters with no issues. If you wish to swap to manual focus for increased control you don't need to mess around with changing settings - this lens offers manual override.

A match for your DX camera

Specially designed for Nikon DX-format DSLR cameras, the Nikon 12-24mm f4 G lens provides users with a 35mm equivalent focal range of 18-36mm - a very usable wide range that will not leave you with overly distorted and unnatural images.
