This Quick Release Plate by Wooden Camera is a quick release plate that is designed primarily for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema camera but can also attach to the base of other cameras or baseplates. This plate has a square cutout to allow removing of batteries through the bottom door which also works for DSLR cameras. It features an ARRI standard dovetail slot that can interface with third-party accessories. The dovetail is released from the quick release plate by turning the thumbscrew, depressing the pin, and moving the camera backwards.
