Wooden Camera AJA CION Accessory Kit (PRO, V-Mount)

The AJA CION Pro Accessory Kit from Wooden Camera is a camera support package that outfits your AJA CION for professional use and features an IDX V-Mount battery plate. It includes a top-mounted cheese plate for accessory attachments, a quick-release baseplate that holds a pair of 6"-long 15mm rods at the correct lens height for the camera, and a quick-release NATO top handle that attaches to the top plate. Also included is a dovetail clamp for mounting the baseplate to ARRI standard dovetails (such as the included 12" Safety Dovetail) and a rear rod adapter to support optional 15mm rods at the rear of the camera. Completing the kit is an adjustable battery slide with an IDX V-Mount battery plate that attaches directly to the rear of the CION and plugs into the camera's internal Molex power connector.

Wooden Camera Top Plate for AJA CION

The Wooden Camera Top Plate for AJA CION attaches via four 1/4"-20 screws to the camera top and features rows of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 holes in standard spacing. The original CION handle included with the camera can be re-installed on the top plate. ARRI style accessory mounts with 3/8"-16 threads and locating pins are present on top and side. Integrated HDMI clamping mechanism locks cables securely in place and prevents strain or damage. The open area over the removable CION cover plate for servicing flange focus.

Note: Tape hook should be removed from the top and installed on the camera side.

Wooden Camera Fixed Base for AJA CION

The Fixed Base for AJA CION from Wooden Camera provides LWS 15mm pass-through rod support at the correct lens height. The baseplate can attach to any tripod plate or ARRI standard bridge plate, such as Wooden Camera's 19mm or 15mm Studio Bridge Plates. When rods are not needed, a separately-available Dovetail Clamp can be added instead to interface with 2060 Dovetails, Safety Dovetails, or Shoulder Rigs.

Wooden Camera 15mm Support Rod (9")

This is a single, 9" long 15mm Support Rod from Wooden Camera for mounting accessories. It is chamfered at each end to ease sliding accessories on and off and has a hollow interior providing maximum strength.

Wooden Camera NATO Handle Kit (Plus, 100mm Rail)

This Wooden Camera NATO Handle Kit, consisting of a quick-release top handle and 3.9" / 100mm NATO rail, offers a variety of mounting points for attaching viewfinders, focus motors, lights, shock mounts, and other accessories.

The handle features a sideways 15mm rod port, 15mm rod opening in front, 19mm rod opening in the rear, shoe mount, and 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads all around. The sideways 15mm rod port is ideal for attaching Wooden Camera's UVF Mount or other viewfinder mounts. Two 1/4"-20 socket screws are included for binding rods in the front and rear rod openings.

The NATO rail can be attached to any two 1/4"-20 threads positioned up to 72mm apart, such as on a cage or select cameras. The handle conveniently slides on and off and secures in place by a lever. A rotating knob on top allows the handle to be adjusted sideways or reversed to the rear by a rosette-like mechanism.

NATO Quick Release

The handle features an integrated NATO rail clamp that lets you slide onto any NATO compatible rail, not just the included one.

Rosette Based Rotating Grip

The handle position can be adjusted by loosening the top screw, rotating it into the desired position, and then re-tightening the top screw. This gives you a level of versatility you typically don't find in top handles.

Sideways 15mm Rod Clamp

The side rod opening lets you attach a 15mm rod perpendicular to your camera, great for attaching an optional monitor/EVF support bracket such as Wooden Camera's UVF Mount v2. A thumbscrew secures the rod in place.

Front/Rear Rod Openings

A forward-facing 15mm rod opening and 19mm rear rod opening are available for attaching optional single rods, which can be used for mounting accessories such as focus motors. A pair of 1/4"-20 set screws are included to secure the rods in place via the threaded holes along the sides of the grip area.

Integrated Cold Shoe

A cold shoe built into the top of the handle lets you add on-camera lights, microphone shock mounts, or other shoe mount accessories.

Accessory Threads

1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes along the grip area of the handle are provided for attaching additional accessories.

Optional Front Rod Clamp

Two 1/4"-20 thread holes on the front of the handle let you attach an optional 15mm or 19mm rod clamp to the base of the handle.

Wooden Camera Dovetail Clamp

The Wooden Camera Dovetail Clamp allows you to attach cameras, baseplates, or accessories to an ARRI standard dovetail. It features slots at multiple locations for inserting mounting screws from underneath and comes with two 3/8"-16 and two 1/4"-20 low-profile screws.

Wooden Camera Safety Dovetail Plate (12")

The 12" Safety Dovetail Plate from Wooden Camera is an ARRI standard dovetail with a stopper screw on one end and a safety latch on the other to prevent accidental camera detachment. It features threaded 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes for accessory mounting and tripod attachment. The dovetail can be attached to a shoulder pad for custom handheld configurations.

Wooden Camera Rear Rod Adapter (CION, 15mm LW)

The Rear Rod Adapter (CION, 15mm LW) from the Wooden Camera attaches to the two 1/4"-20 holes at the bottom rear of an AJA CION camera to provide 15mm LW rear rod support. This adapter is ideal for holding a second set of rear rods without obstructing access to the integrated camera shoulder pad. It is the correct height for passing through 15mm LW rods from Fixed Base (CION) all the way to the back.

Wooden Camera Battery Slide with Gold Mount Plate and AJA CION Molex Connector

The Battery Slide from Wooden Camera features an Anton Bauer gold mount battery plate and an AJA CION Molex connector. This custom battery slide attaches directly to the Molex connector on the back of the camera so you have the ability to also plug in an AC adapter or block battery to the XLR power input on the camera and hot-swap between the two without powering down. The battery plate position can be adjusted by loosening the thumbscrew. The AJA CION camera with the rear low-profile Battery Slide fits into its camera case.
