VisibleDust Quasar R 5x Sensor Loupe Magnifier with Dark Adaptation Technology

The Quasar R magnifying glass is the result of scientific research that VisibleDust supports through partnerships with various universities. As a company based on utilization of scientific knowledge, VisibleDust is proud to introduce an original and innovative device called the Quasar® R 5x Sensor Loupe® Magnifier with Dark Adaptation Technology. This unique magnifying glass uses dark adaptation technology to improve visual acuity and vision. Dust and dirt particles are made visible that are not visible under normal white light.

The easiest way to detect if you have debris on your sensor is by using the Sensor Loupe® with magnification and LED technology. This will enable you clearly see any contamination on the sensor and within the chamber area itself.

The Quasar R magnifying glass is equipped with fourteen bright LED lamps, seven of which produce a special red light based on a wavelength that increases the visibility of dust particles. At this special wavelength, the red light produces the maximum extension of the pupil in the iris. This increases the sensitivity of the photoreceptors in the eye many times over. After just a few seconds, the pupil is widened so that you can perceive the sensor more clearly and with more details.

The Quasar R has a fivefold magnification and is equipped with high-quality ED glass. This in turn is provided with a fluoride coating (MgF2) to reduce light reflections and chromatic aberrations. In addition, the Quasar R magnifying glass is equipped with a 67mm metal filter thread to connect filters or an extension tube so that you can achieve further extraneous light shading.

The “Bright Vue” technology allows a three-dimensional representation with 7 white or red LEDs each, arranged at different angles. Thus, every little contamination can be identified.

The Quasar R magnifying glass is powered by two CR2032 batteries, which are included. The magnifying glass is delivered in a small hard case with a precise fitting rigid foam insert.
