While the console can record on it's own, it is also ready for easy integration with computer-based DAWs with built-in DAW transport controls. You also get all the typical Tascam mixer controls expected, including 3-band EQ with sweepable mids on channels 1 to 12, 1-knob compression, a 100 Hz low-cut filter, plus PFL\/AFL functions, and a new assignable 60mm fader assigned to the 16 built-in Tascam FX by default, which include reverb, delay, and chorus.
