Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm f1.2

The Panasonic Leica 42.5mm f1.2 Lens is the first to earn a spot in the superior NOCTICRON range of lenses. Its premium construction and outstanding optical quality make it one of the best pieces of glass you can mount to your Lumix G or Olympus Micro Four Thirds camera. The 42.5mm focal range translates to a full frame equivalent of 85mm to deliver the perfect portrait perspective. Ultra-sharp images are produced via an internal construction which consists of two Aspherical elements, and Extra-low Dispersion element, a Ultra High Refractive Index element and a superior Nano Surface Anti-Reflective Coating. This first-class arrangement ensures minimal spherical aberration and distortion, vibrant colour reproduction as well as outstanding contrast and sharpness across the entire frame. Power O.I.S image stabilisation minimises camera shake to ensure critical sharpness, especially when shooting with slow shutter speeds and in difficult low-light scenarios.

The bright f/1.2 maximum aperture delivers smooth out-of-focus backgrounds that remove distractions from your shot and allow the viewer to truly connect with your intended subject. A 9 bladed circular diaphragm ensures out-of-focus areas are velvety and consistent throughout the entire frame.

The aperture can be controlled electronically via camera settings or using the manual aperture ring on the barrel of the lens. The ring features 1/3rd stop adjustments from f/1.2 to f/16 to provide you with versatile creative control.

An all metal exterior extends to the included lens hood to provide a solid, well balanced feeling in the hand and ensures the longevity of the lens despite the certainty of everyday wear and tear.

Representing the pinnacle of optical precision and innovation, the Panasonic Leica Nocticron DG 42.5mm f/1.2 lens (H-NS043E) is a must for all serious wedding, portrait and still-life photographers.
