By using two batteries — one in the camera and the other in the grip* — the DMW-BGS1 doubles the battery life for extended shooting. Charging the camera via USB simultaneously charges the battery in the grip. Exclusively designed for the LUMIX S1R/S1, this accessory also makes gripping more comfortable, even in vertical angle shooting. It perfectly matches the camera, featuring the same style of buttons and intuitive joystick control. This grip boasts rugged dust- and splash-resistance and is designed for use at temperatures as low as -10 °C.
