NiSi 72mm Circular Black Mist 1/2 Filter

NiSi Circular Black Mist is a redevelopment of NiSi's popular cinema range “Allure Mist Black” as a circular filter. Perfect for stills or video, the Black Mist lowers contrast, and highlights within the frame are diffused, helping to balance the tonal range among highlights and shadows. The NiSi Black Mist creates that cinematic look and is commonly used to softens wrinkles, blemishes and creates a flattering image of a subject.

Suppress highlights and lift shadows

NiSi's Black Mist suppresses highlights and lifts shadows for well-balanced contrast. Light is characterized by the depiction of light with a core in its softness.

Delicately capture flare

The most effective filter effect can be discovered when capturing light that diffuses softly when backlit. It creates a transparent light that looks like it was taken with a high-class old lens. The NiSi Black Mist makes searching for light fun.

Nano coating

NiSi's Nano coating on each glass surface results in an improved beading effect when in contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency.

Brass Frame

Constructed with a high-quality brass frame for enhancing durability and jamming prevention.

This filter is constructed from optical glass and grades of 1/8, and 1/4 are also available. This filter type’s effect becomes approximately twice as strong with each grade number increase.
