Nikon AF NIKKOR 28mm f/2.8D Lens

The AF NIKKOR 28mm f/2.8D Lens from Nikon offers exceptional versatility, from shooting landscapes to cramped interiors to magnificent star trails. This standard wide-angle lens has a 74° angle of coverage on FX-format DSLRs and 53° on DX-format cameras, which is equivalent to a 42mm focal length in the 35mm format. The lens will also let you capture beautiful environmental portraits, street and documentary-style shots and candids. For getting in close to your subjects you can focus down to 10.2" to capture images with a dynamic perspective.

Nikon D-type lenses transmit subject-to-camera distance information to the camera. The camera uses this distance information to refine its exposure calculations. Nikon's Super Integrated Lens Coating improves light transmission and reduces flare and ghosting. Autofocus is not supported by D40, D40x, D60, D3000, D3100, D3200, D3300, D5000, D5100, D5200, D5300 cameras--lens may be used with manual focus only. Be sure to check your camera's lens compatibility information before selecting a new lens.

Wide-angle lens compatible with both FX and DX-format cameras, on DX-format cameras it provides a 35mm focal length equivalence of 42mm.

Super Integrated Lens Coating is applied to all lens elements and reduces flare and ghosting.
