Built with a modular design that stacks seamlessly with their other card reader models, the SD Dual Card Reader from Angelbird is made for the fast ingestion of SD, SDHC, and SDXC media, with native support for UHS-II and backward compatibility for UHS-I. It connects to your host Windows, Mac, Linux, iPadOS, or Android system using a USB Type-C port, which operates using the 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard. If your system doesn't support USB 3.2 Gen 2, there is backward compatibility with other USB standards. Additionally, since the USB Type-C port shares the same interface as Thunderbolt 3, this card reader be directly connected to Thunderbolt 3 ports. To further aid in system connectivity, both a 19.7" USB Type-C to Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A adapter are included.

Angelbird's SD Dual Card Reader is bus-powered, meaning it receives power directly from your system's host USB or Thunderbolt port, with no additional cables or power supplies required. The Solid Stack design allows for the modular stacking of multiple card readers, while the USB Type-C port features Solid Connect recessed connectivity, which helps to ensure stable, uninterrupted data transfers, as well as protection for your cable against wear and tear. Lastly, built-in write-protect switches on each card slot help protect the content on your SD media from being accidentally erased.

So that the SD Dual Card Reader may be used with microSD media, a microSD to SD adapter is included. Also included is a USB Type-C to Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A adapter.
