With a broad zoom range, the SEL18135 provides ample reach for general shooting as well as landscapes, portraits, wildlife, and more. It features a compact, lightweight portable design that maximises the APS-C format. The SEL18135 also delivers fast, precise, and quiet auto-focus operation that makes it an excellent one-lens solution for day-to-day photo and movie shooting.
CORNER-TO-CORNER RESOLUTION
The SEL18135’s optical design includes one aspherical element which contributes to high resolution image quality. It maintains fine detail from the image’s centre right out to the very edge of the image, while two ED glass elements suppress chromatic aberration. A 45cm minimum focusing distance makes it easy to shoot close-ups of flowers, food, wildlife with beautiful background bokeh enhanced by a 7-blade circular aperture design.
