The Saramonic SR-PMIC1 is a lightweight, shotgun style super cardioid unidirectional condenser microphone. Ideal for home movies, interviews, vlogging and YouTube videos, the microphone greatly improves the audio quality over the inbuilt microphone of DSLRs and small handheld video cameras.

Uni-Directional Audio Pickup

The SR-PMIC1 incorporates a cardioid condenser microphone capsule to deliver excellent quality sound. Its uni-directional characteristics focus on audio directly in front of the camera, effectively reducing distracting peripheral noise from either side of your shot.

Low-Cut Filter

A low-cut filter switch minimises the level of low frequencies below 100 Hz to help minimise unwanted noise caused by air conditioners, light winds, and distant traffic.

No Batteries Required

The microphone is powered by your cameras plug-in power and connects directly into the external microphone port of the camera through its 3.5mm audio cable. Battery-free operations make it perfect for on-the-go shooting without the added weight and bulk of power packs.

Cold Shoe Mount Attachment

A standard cold shoe mount makes it convenient to attach the lightweight microphone to the accessory shoe on your DSLR, camcorder, or any other hot shoe mount.

Anti-Shock Mount

An integrated rubber isolation shock mount reduces vibrations and unwanted sound from handling your camera. It helps reduce the effects of things like settings adjustments and lens movement to dramatically improve the sound clarity of your recordings.

Noise Reduction Pop Shield
