Celestron StarSense AutoAlign System

The StarSense AutoAlign Telescope Alignment System from Celestron uses its built-in camera to take a series of images of the night sky overhead, automatically searches its database to identify the stars in the images, and matches them to its database of over 40,000 objects. Once a match is confirmed, the system calculates the coordinates of the centre of the captured image and determines exactly where the telescope is pointed. The included hand controller replaces the NexStar controller that originally came with your scope. The StarSense alignment system can be used in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres.
