Sony Shotgun Microphone ECM-673

For Studio or Field Use

The Sony Shotgun Microphone ECM-673 can be easily mounted on a camera or a boom pole to capture high quality sound whether you are working within a studio or out on-location.

Excellent Sound Pickup

The Sony ECM-673 delivers an excellent sensitivity range of -36 dB to ±3 dB and is coupled with a low inherent noise level to equip you with the ability to record clear audio across a broad range of shooting scenarios.

Good Audio Reproduction

Using an electret condenser-type microphone design provides a flat-and-wide frequency response range of 40Hz to 20 kHz helping it deliver, natural, high quality audio reproduction.

Low Cut Filter

For added versatility, the microphone features an inbuilt two position low cut switch that provides a simple method of filtering out the ambient noise during recording.

Vibration Resistant Mount

To further improve its sound quality, the ECM-673 employs a vibration resistant mount that makes it suitable for run-and-gun style shooting, reducing unwanted noise caused by vibrations between the camera and the mount.

Highly Directional Design

Designed to be highly directional, the ECM-673 Shotgun Microphone will only pick up audio from the front, and will ignore other noise towards the side - making it great for vlogs, ENG and interviews.

Compact Design

The EMC 673 Shotgun Microphone weighs a mere 135 g and measures only 200mm, making it lightweight and compact enough for easy portability. Its XLR connector and 50 cm mic cable means it is compatible with a variety of cameras, and includes a stand adapter, allowing it to be mounted to booms or light stands for more complex recording requirements.
