3 Legged Thing Punks Patti & AirHed Mini

3 Legged Thing Punks Patti & AirHed Mini

The Punks Patti Tripod with AirHed Mini Ball Head from 3 Legged Thing is a 4-section magnesium-alloy support that weighs 1.5kg and fills the shooting needs of beginners, novices, and professionals alike. To extend the legs, flip open the ABS plastic locks, then pull the rapid center column up, so the tripod can reach a maximum height of 162.56 cm. The tripod can also have a minimum height of 18.41 cm by simply removing the center column, splaying the legs completely out, and reattaching the AirHed Mini back to the yoke of the tripod.

Adjusting the tripod back to its normal position, the center column can be reversed to get even closer to a subject for macro photography. The leg's removable rubber feet are replaceable with many available foot accessories, such as spiked toes or claws to accommodate different terrains.

The Arca-type-compatible AirHed Mini has three separate control knobs for the head. One to control the panning, which rotates 360°. The second knob for the ball movement, and a third knob for tension control to add or decrease the drag on the ball. The head's load capacity is 9.98 kg, and it includes a quick release plate with a 1/4"-20 camera mounting thread. To travel with the support, the reverse-folding legs create a compact 45.47 cm tripod.
