I have owned a few Nikon SLRs and this handles so much faster than any of the others. I love the instant back up of having two card slots.

The D7000 is a solid, fast performing SLR that is worth the investment.

I upgraded from the D90 and found it a fairly smooth transition from a handling point of view. I do a lot of outdoor photography and appreciate the weather seals and longer battery life.

New AF system is really good...just make sure you use the right lens. It captures detail beautifully. This camera feels sturdy with a magnesium alloy build.

I recently upgraded from the D90. Love the new robust feel of the magnesium alloy. Great AF and good to have 100% field of view.

Nice sturdy magnesium alloy body. Having two SD card slots is useful. Great detail on the LCD screen, although I do wish it was not a fixed screen.

Brilliant new auto focus system. Really happy with purchase.

This is an exceptional camera with excellent image quality and performance. I would prefer an articulated screen but otherwise I can't fault this camera.
