A new addition to Canon’s DSLR market, the 60D replaces the previous EOS 50D model. While it retains the DiC!C 4 Processor of its predecessor, the 60D also features an 18megapixel CMOS sensor, HD video capabilities and a 3 inch articulated LCD screen.
The design is smaller and noticeably lighter, as it made from plastic rather than magnesium alloy. The 60D has also been simplified as far as the controls are concerned.
This is the first of the EOD cameras to offer an articulated screen, this allows for great versatility when shooting more obscure angles. The HD video has complete manual control an there is an HDMI cable output so that videos and photos can be shared easily via any compatible HD TV.
