Canon EOS 7D
The Canon EOS 7D is a robust SLR that delivers excellent image quality making it the camera of choice for many professionals and semi professionals.
Featuring an 18 Megapixel CMOS sensor, Dual DiG!C 4 processors , a 19 point autofocus system and full 1080 high definition video, it also sports a magnesium alloy, weather sealed body.
The 7D is built for outdoors and with 8 frames per second continuous shooting it is an ideal SLR for sports and wildlife photography. The Canon EOS 7D is a great choice for both amateur and professional photographers.

The EOS 7D is new to the Canon Enthusiast range and is creating some serious competition in the mid range market. Aimed at semi-professionals as well as serious photographers it displays many new features that enthusiasts have been waiting for.
While it has a similar look to some of Canon’s previous EOS models this SLR camera sports a whopping 18MP sensor, an intelligent new viewfinder with 1.0X magnification and 100% coverage, dual DiG!C 4 processors, high definition video and 8fps continuous shooting - making it an exciting addition to the Canon range.
These added features have been luring in new Canon buyers and those that are able to make their budget stretch a little further have been considering the 7D over the 50D. A comparison of some of their key features is listed in the following table;

The EOS 7D is an impressive, feature packed SLR that has excellent auto focus and high definition video. While it may not be quite up to the image quality of the more expensive EOS 5D Mark II, overall the 7D is a great performing camera and is outstanding value for money.
